feature request for the scenario editor

Post by Javolenus »

Hi There,

The scenario editor is a great asset to this game. I'd like to make a request: would it be possible to add an 'import base map' feature? That is to say, you can import a map image to use as a 'base map', so you can overlay terrain etc. Then, when you're done creating your custom map, you can delete the imported base map and just have your Combat Command custom map ready to go. Is this feasible? Fingers crossed!

What'd be the cool feature would be, once the terrain map was created, to keep the imported image as the game map.

I still think an OOB importer/exporter would be a great asset to the editor.

That's true--the ability to import OOBs and maps would give the game a real boost.
