RE: A random blizzard AAR (no Traemyn please)
Turn 100 !
During the previous turn, a few attacks have been made by my opponent. Now we got Mud everywhere again !
Some strong forces seems to be ready to strike north of Mogilev. I may withdraw in this sector.

Hoth is in charge of the 3rd panzer army, the most powerful one. Around 1700 afvs and 3000 guns. By the end of May, we should see if this force will be abble to stop the soviet advance in the south.

The soviets did two arty attacks the previous turn. A few casualties, more on the soviet side ! Here are the results, a little strange, don't you think ?

Order of battle :
The soviets are more than 8 millions now...but with the axis allies, they are facing a huge army too ! I feel confident, they won't reach Berlin before 1946. [:-]

With the mud, I have the time to check the production report screen. Do I have half a million of men waiting in my pool ? I am not sure to understand all those numbers...

3 JUNE 1943, Clear weather, and this should stay as it is until october. The dice are loaded. I withdraw in some places (mostly in the center and up north). It shorten my line, I can make finally some reserves. I merge a few units. In front of the 3rd panzer, I withdraw 20 miles...I am excited to see what Traemyn is up to.
Up north, I have a panzer corps in the back to counter attack where necessary

RE: A random blizzard AAR (no Traemyn please)
Turn 104 June 10th 1943
What I had expected happended. The soviets have launch some massive and violent offensives all around the front. The situation north of Kiev is not critical but I will have to withdraw most of the front and run !
Here, in the south, some very powerful russians armies have broken my front in several places...I was very close to try to count how many guards corps or rifle corps are involved but it will take to many time. I see tank corps, mech corps which drove by the holes made in my line, I see arty div behind. Three german inf are surrounded (LII corps of the 17th army)
I made a lot of recon behind those powerful forces and it seems that the soviets have no reserve.
There must be something to do.
The plan is to try to surround the primary spearhead of the soviets. See the arrows ! Am I dreaming ? I have put my best units to achieve this kind of move and it may be possible ! Anyway, I have to try, I won't get this opportunity again. It's the turning point !

all together.
Now I have to calm down and do my best !

RE: A random blizzard AAR (no Traemyn please)
The first punch is made by the V corps, GD PzGren and the 3rd panzer, helped by three inf (Two of them had to withdaw during the previous attack and are really weak) open a 10 miles gap.

RE: A random blizzard AAR (no Traemyn please)
I commit more units and decide to even move my best one to the front to be sure to throw away those three corps
It tooks me five minutes to make this decision but I did the good choice. It has been a tough fight but we won ![8D]
