Nah...I'm too old for them. Looks like Jo Pa isn't as lilly white as his rep. WSJ has a big article about how he felt that the football players *should not* be beholden to PSU for discipline. Hard to imagine a pervasive 'above the law' mentality there, no? Alright, maybe no.

Had some good news today. Got my appointment to the National Defense College prolonged for another three years. It means I'm safe from defense budget cuts for at least the same time period (as the College gets its funding from the Dept of Education, not the DoD).

Thank goodness they canceld our local boy scout troop trip to Penn State this fall.

Yesterday I put in three turns while watching what I think may have been a football game. Vikings and Chiefs, oh the humanity. Then watched Pork Chop Hill.
