Sinking ...unknown - no not really?

Post by Cavalry Corp »

I know there is a an unknown for ship loss - thats great...

BUT if you then go to the ship from the loss screen on the bottom right hand side it says what sunk it - maybe this needs taking out for unknown losses?

Why? I have seen my own ships bombed and torpedoed by the enemy and sink on the spot, and yet it comes up on the ship loss screen as "unknown".

Better to remove the "unknown" IMHO.

and after watching a combat replay and seeing a particular ship of your own sunk, you close teh combat report and a text flash message appears naming a completely different ship as the one sunk.

presumably, you know which one of your own ships sunk and getting a FOW report that lists it as a completely different ship is one of the rather comical aspects of the FOW system.

I chalk it up to "entertainment" and move on.
