But I still don't understand Black Friday, Candied Bacon or why anyone would try to eat a 12lb burger plus fries? [&:]

And what is the point of grits?

Grits are a culinary masterpiece of regional import... much like haggis! (Only more palatable to the foreign taste buds). I like to mix mine with the yolk from "eggs over easy".

and what is over easy? We just cook our eggs, we don't need to come up with new ways of confusing foreigners...

Fried on both sides with the yolk still liquid. Sometimes the white is still runny.

Seems I need to take my computer in for repair. I really need a fix. I'm bouncing off the walls without my precious. Just a dime bag of Witp-AE. That's all I need and I'll be fine. Really.[;)]
Though it was a great Thanksgiving. A record 56 degrees. Took the Labs across the street to the park/greenway for a couple hour run. Finished the yard work. Then fixed up the lobster an shrimp newburg with Harvey's Bristol Cream and EJ Brandy. Good stuff man. Then I occupied the couch. The labs were dead tired. And I slipped in and out of blissful consciousness. There was not enough nap in the world. Less my computer troubles there is plenty to be thankful.[:)]

Managed to get a couple of deals on Amazon today, although most of their deals seem to have been a bit rubbish.

Got Cars 2 for £5 and seven discworld books fo £25 (the City Watch series up to Thud!).  Also the Neverending Story book and film for Mrs D as it was one of her favourites when she was a wee un I even paid full price for it. [X(]

I was going to get Fawlty Towers on Amazon for $25.00. But I had to scrap that for now. I spent $170.00 on a new 23" screen for the computer. Hopefully I can get the computer in today and be up and running tonight or tomorrow. Sioux hockey tonight and tomorrow. So That should keep me occupied for a little while anyway.

The best part of Thanksgiving is a turkey and stuffing sandwich the next day. Yum!

I also hve a new favourite news website..

Excellent website, Dix. Thanks for sharing.

I particularly like the "Economy poised for 9% growth" sidebar. That's swell. Of course, inflation is up in the 20,000% range still. I wonder if that factored into their economic growth estimates...[:D]

Yeah. Starbuck's carp would not taste good at all. Now, their halibut coffee on the other hand...[:'(]

A faber is when one person posts for an entire page. Rather difficult to do nowadays.

Correct. It is supposed to be called a horribly botched egg. The proper fried egg is NEVER turned over. Or as we call it down here, sunny side up.
