I bought it - at last

Command Ops: Battles From The Bulge takes the highly acclaimed Airborne Assault engine back to the West Front for the crucial engagements during the Ardennes Offensive. Test your command skills in the fiery crucible of Airborne Assault’s “pausable continuous time” uber-realistic game engine. It's up to you to develop the strategy, issue the orders, set the pace, and try to win the laurels of victory in the cold, shadowy Ardennes.
Command Ops: Highway to the Reich brings us to the setting of one of the most epic and controversial battles of World War II: Operation Market-Garden, covering every major engagement along Hell’s Highway, from the surprise capture of Joe’s Bridge by the Irish Guards a week before the offensive to the final battles on “The Island” south of Arnhem.

I bought it - at last

Probably one of the longest running sagas in my life - whether to buy this or not and if so when.

The sale brought it down to a price that was acceptable to me. (note - I'm not saying it's worth less than the original price!)

Thanks Dave for another great game in the series and the discount. [&o]

I look forward to giving it the third degree.

Finally. Enjoy.

East Front next. Which along with the CM future releases are the only ones in progress I'm interested in.

I also picked it up with the Sale.

Really good fun, though my Breakout from bastogne just ran into an SS Pz Div?

I really feel this engine is so ready for a raft of Italy & NW Europe scenarios, cant wait for the Market-Garden updates.

Me too. It´s my fourth Panther game (Fire Brigade, RDoA, CotA). And it´s the second game, I bought this year. The first was CM:BfN. After a few days watching the fighting in 3D, I lost interest, too much micromanaging for me.

Historically the SS Panzer divisions were redirected to the south to capture Bastogne late in December, colliding with 3rd Army's push north toward Houffalize resulting in some of the toughest fighting during the entire battle. That's what you re seeing.
