Ouch ... caught the "System Fix" virus on the desktop, last night. Thought, no worries, just get Rkill and Malwarebytes off the other 'puter and go boggie. But then, the Toshiba picked that very moment to roach the hard drive.

Sigh. ... So went out and about. Found a hot little laptop thing with an i7, 8G mem, 1G drive, sheesh, and I can HDMI it into the wallscreen. Damn, ok, just trash my old stuff, shoot. Still gotta kill System Fix and get my files back from the old desktop, but ... Woof!! Turn your back for a second and technology just runs up your blind side, yeah? The more things change, the more they hurt like hell.

Funny story...

I decided to go down to one of the farms over lunch to look at deer feeders and such since we're SOOOO busy at work this time of the year....

I stop by one of our Amrpides on my way south out of town..

A couple (possibly brother and sister, couldnt figure out) come in and ask Terri (the mgr..) for some help..

Boy - My grandma gave us this card to get some gas, and it wont work.
Boy - (To gal)... call her and see if she gave us the wrong card
Terri - is it a debit or credit card?
Boy - debit, but it won't accept it
Terri - does it have any money on it?
Boy - I dont know, its not mine. Does it have to?
Girl - Gma said it doesn't have any money on it
Boy - Well, why won't it work then..
Terri - If it is a debit card, you have to have money on it to use it, otherwise you can't get anything
Boy - How the hell am I suppose to get gas if I don't have any money?
Terri - That's your problem, not mine.
