Dunno about all that. Some of the most insanely wealthy "Wall Street bastards" come from very austere roots. Of course, if it does you good to generalize so about them, please carry on. But your smearing of their frequent hard-bit successes in life as being nepotism are, in my opinion, unfair.

At some level, we're all idiots. I'll focus my 'guns' on those whom I consider the bigger comparative idiots. The OWS crowd are exactly that, in my opinion.

I don't care anything for either. Just seems most around here are more sympathetic with the powers that be.

I prefer to spend my efforts looking for someone to help not someone to shoot.

I'm sympathetic with anyone and everyone who accepts personal responsibility for the way they live their life.

You are very much included in that group, my Martian friend. [8D]

Aside from the fact that a large proportion of OWS had no idea what they were protesting about, it might be claimed that the people who brought about the current economic shitstorm didn't accept personal responsibility for how they lived their lives either.

Personal checks, on the other hand...

I'm going to have to agree with the Dane on this one.

Also, the whole "The Market Will Regulate Itself" is a logical fallacy, because the only limit to the market would be human greed, which is limitless.

There are no 'markets' that are solely policed / regulated by themselves. All markets have regulatory oversight of some capacity or another-at least all markets worthy of the name. Thus, the 'market will regulate itself' is a logical fallacy not solely because of the depths of human greed, but because no unregulated markets exist. Period. This is the main logical fallacy of that statement-presupposing the existence of something that does not exist.

You're confusing "does not exist" with "can't exist". The US financial sector has so many pig lobbyists with their snouts so far up Congress' ass that the US market is essentially "non-regulated".

Me, I wouldn't mind finding someone to shoot.

I got my new 'puter because a friend of mine sent me a link to some pictures of his latest wooden ship model; on modelships.com, for chris sakes! Well, it wasn't their fault, there was some more links to some more neat pics, but one of the links went to somewhere that had a pop-under that loaded "Systen Fix". So, boom ! there went the desktop. And when I grabbed the laptop and started downloading RKill and UnHide and TDSKill, the laptop harddrive went belly-up.

Had to get another 'puter, and DARN if they weren't hotter and cheaper than I ever imagined. This new laptop blows the doors off my old desk box. Ah, well, an acorn in every pile of pig poop.

Ok, so, maybe wanting to shoot the hacker perp is a touch insensitive and over-reactive on my part. I mean, imagine all the people I would disappoint, by something so brief. Perhaps just cut the perp's hands off with a dull, rusty, chainsaw and nail the remains to a tree in the middle of the woods next to great big anthill of fire-ants. Now, that would get some hits on YouTube. [:D][:D]

[ed] speling and langwage. Oh, yeah, and making sure the only LOG is the one the puke gets nailed to.

Vulgarly phrased nonsense. I suggest we leave this here, Kristian, lest we politicize the THREAD further.

He's doing his civic duty, and dangling the (slightly) damaged dregs of deserving perps over fire-ant hills, somewhere in the wilderland. [:D]

MAN! I am telling you what! I can't watch a hockey game on TV live anymore. Even if I'm home and ready to watch, I'll DVR it and then start playing it back about 45 minutes after it starts. Then, I FF through all the commercials and the intermissions and finish about the same time as the live game. [8D]

I can't go back! [:D]
