Rekm41 (G) vs Sillyflower (R) Canuck takes on a Brit (No peeking)

Taking on the Russian Bear. These are my losses after I performed Air Recon over his AF's. I like to do that even knowing where his planes are located from many practice runs vs the mighty AI!

After numerous bombing missions against his AF's these are the results. I am pleased with the number of planes that were destroyed. My losses were acceptable at least to me, the little guys in the computer might disagree, but who's in charge here???

Here is the starting line. I am going to try for a T1 take of Riga as it is not too difficult a thing to do. Might borrow some panzeer divisions to get across the rivers there in AGN territory. Going to try and take out as many Soviet units as possible and also some encirclements cause lets face it, it is fun to see all those little units bordered in Red!!!

The next posts will show my advances at the end of T1 for all three areas of operation. I did borrow some PZ divisions to use in AGN and also sent 2 PZ Corps from AGC to AGS to help with encirclements there and to push further in..

Here are the Soviet ground unit losses for T1, not too shabby IMHO. I have practice many turns against the AI and this is pretty darn good I think.

And the total air losses for the end of turn. All and all I think it was a pretty good start. Have to wait and see what my esteemed opponent will do with this.

This was an unsuccesful start. Several soviet units survived the Brianysk and Lvov pocket.

Yes that is true, but I am still happy with it. They will perish come next turn.

I think you routed way too many units in the center and your Lvow pocket will most likely be broken.

I do like the push in the south overall however. An early drive to Rovno puts a dent in an early Soviet opportunity for a line anchored to the swamp for flank protection. I am using that in my Axis opening these days as well.

Story of my turn ones....[:(]...I just can't seem to nail down the Lvov pocket like you guys can do so well.

Make sure you nail down those pockets in the south ASAP! If SF goes off in all directions you'll be chasing units down for weeks or stalling your drive off for a turn.
