What does the WITPAE tracker do, how does it work?

Basically, it tracks all the major stats of your side. Mostly needed for the Japanese economy, but many Allied players like it too.

It works by reading the information from your savefile and putting it into multiple GUI form. It's free so try it...

Just about every IJ player would agree ... great tool.

Theres so much to like about AE tracker from the Japan side I don't know where to start. Off the top of my head I'd say the program telling me the ship is about to build or the date at which I can accerlerate (or halt) is my favorite aspect. It really helps me dial in on my shipbuilding. I agree a great tool and must have for anyone playing IJ.

If only it made coffee. The allied side finds it useful as well, especially for keeping track of supply and fuel in the various regions.

Besides the economy there are some very powerful tools in WiTP Tracker. I provided an example in a recent thread for finding air groups that need pilots. I use the alerts to identify LCU's that have reached a destination. There is sooooo much more .

The only things I use WitP Staff for is identifying graphically ships that need an upgrade and where they are at, and the intellegence for loitering LCU's.

But IMHO) unless you understand the game concepts all the information is overwhelming ..I am 195 turns into a game and I still get a "oh" that is how I use that ..

Our fellow posters are very much on - AE Tracker does an incredible job of taking a myriad amount of game numbers and information, then formatting it into a logical comprehensible format. The Japanese Player in particular can find Tracker very helpful in handling the economy; as virtually every facet of the game is covered by Tracker.

Tracker basically collects and organizes the presentation of data and related information. In some situations, it enhances the information by peforming calculations.

Like the game, Tracker can be a little complex and has a slight learning curve. However, from the get-go, you can immediatly recognize and use parts of tracker even if you are new to the game.

From the Japanese side, I am not sure I could run the economy without Tracker.
