Hi-I've installed subject v. Problem is game screen size being too large- I cannot see all of game playing screen. Details:

1.Main Menu Screen at bottom of screen shows only the top tip of the red exit game toggle at bottom right of screen.

2. Task bar at bottom of game base screen shows only very top of aircraft icons. I cannot see ship or LCU icons at all.

3. Tool bar at top of game base screen shows only a sliver of bottom of icons.

In this mode the game is unplayable. I know there is a way to ENLARGE the screen-is there a way to make it smaller? Otherwise I have to play the 1064i version.

FYI, I've recently installed a new HP 2511 Wide LCD (27" diagonal) monitor- no problem seeing whole screen using other Vs.

If anyone asks for a copy of the screen, they'll have to tell me how to copy and upload a screen-I've never learned how to do that.

simply hit the "print screen" key on your keyboard. The screenshot is saved to the windows clip board and then can be pasted into any graphics program such as "paint" and saved as a .jpeg


are you aware that when you execute an install of teh beta patches that the copmmand line in the shortcut gets appended with the switch that changes your game to windowed mode? You can edit this by opening the properties on the shortcut and deleting the "-w" sppendage at the end of the command line. don't know if this is causing your problem.

you can also force certain screen resolutions by adding appendages to the command line. not sure which thread that is in but you may be able to search for it.

Hans- Many thanks. I eliminated that "w" and things are back to normal-or will be when I get thru playing with screen resolution.
