Giving orders at Regimental levels and above....

Command Ops: Battles From The Bulge takes the highly acclaimed Airborne Assault engine back to the West Front for the crucial engagements during the Ardennes Offensive. Test your command skills in the fiery crucible of Airborne Assault’s “pausable continuous time” uber-realistic game engine. It's up to you to develop the strategy, issue the orders, set the pace, and try to win the laurels of victory in the cold, shadowy Ardennes.
Command Ops: Highway to the Reich brings us to the setting of one of the most epic and controversial battles of World War II: Operation Market-Garden, covering every major engagement along Hell’s Highway, from the surprise capture of Joe’s Bridge by the Irish Guards a week before the offensive to the final battles on “The Island” south of Arnhem.

Eric, thanks for the explanation.

I did say I was pretty clueless with regards to these things. I was just getting impatient because I didn't want to try the new patch until the lock up unit bug had been quashed.

As usual with these things once the patch arrives all is forgiven and apologies ensue.

So sorry for moaning.

Think of it this way. If we thought the game was crap we wouldn't even be here bemoaning the release of the patch. it's because the game is that good that impatience comes into play. Like petulant children wanting sweets NOW!!

Big thanks to Panther and Matrix.

Actually, I just started a mini-AAR of the Höfen Ho-Down scenario on the AAR section to check the formation lock-up thing. And it seems to be gone now (well, one Coy was reluctant to go forward, but given the situation, I can understand that [:D]).

Could that reluctance of the reserve to commit be influenced by the morale and experience level of the unit along with the leadership and initiative ratings of the commander of the regiment/battalion?

(Answering to you in the wrong thread) [:)]

Yes, I think it's a combination of that and orders delay.
