I'm only recently coming around to rooting for the Twins, in spite of being here for 10 years now. I'm ordinarily an Oakland A's fan. We've been stinkin' up the joint in all categories (other than pitching) for some time. The only good acquisition (swinging a bat) we have had in the past 8 years or so was The Big Hurt. He was single handedly responsible (along with good pitching, of course) for our playoff run in 2007. Otherwise, it's been one disappointing season after another. [:(]

Good morning all. Seems I may be going on a little trip. I was asked to go "out of town" after Christmas. Probably until next fall, if it happens. The job sounds rather interesting. Location, well, not so. [:D] I talked it over with my wife last night. She was strangely ok with it. I think I'm taking up too much of the bed. [:D] Anyway, I'm going to dicker and tell them I want to get promoted. I've been selected for LTC. I just need a position. We'll see how that turns out. [:D]
