bombed factory

Noob question:
When a plane's factory is bombed, do the AI move it or have I to do anything to move it?

We have "dispersal" sites. These are standby factories that will come online once a site is bombed beyond repair. It needs to be pretty hard hit, and it needs to be a larger factory. You'll know when this has happened when you find a site type of "FAC" with no production lines. It all happens for you.

You can't see them on the map till they are activated. There are quite a few near the Stuttgart and Munich areas.

I have two factories with more than 80% damage...
The question is, do the AI disperse these factories or have I to do something?

Engines, planes and parts factories will self disperse as described, when badly hit. All done by the AI for you.

Other factories will stay put and slowly repair.

Sorry for bumping this old tread, but I have a question regarding FAC´s
I´m playing alied side. I found one of it near Henschel EFAC. It´s very damaged. What it means? I hit hard enought factorys around that Axis has to put a dispersal factory on?

It's been a while......

but I think it's the shell of what's left once the original factory ( AFAC or whatever ) was bombed and all of it's meaningful production has gone elsewhere.

It's not really making anything useful now.
