I had both of these events last turn.
* Fortify Smolensk or take 100PP
* Fortify Kiev or take 100PP
In both cases I took the 100PP but at the end of the turn I only had 202PP ( I moved industry earlier ). I think I didn't get both lots of 100PP.

Could you send me a check for the difference :)

Nice try, but if you are absolutely sure the game screwed up, you could use F12 to give yourself the PPs. Unless it's multiplayer.

hey its only a game ... how about you just buy me a cup of coffee?

I'll live without the PP but it would be nice to have this checked out and fixed if necessary.

I was pretty mystified by several events that purported to give me PPs when I didn't see those PPs on my next player turn. But some of those events are two stage events, and the PPs only arrive if the second event triggers. I think the Germany prepares (and then invades) the Low Countries works this way. So the message that you get a certain number of PPs when the first event triggers is just a notification to help you decide which option you want. I don't know if the Soviet events you experienced work the same way.

I'm pretty sure both of those events are granting immediately 100 PP each.
Are you sure there wasn't any other event fired?

In both cases I selected the event that gave me the extra 100PP. The following turn my production was 98 (which seems about right) so for the turn in question I received 100PP from the event + (I presume)100PP production + 2PP saved PP = 202PP in my treasury. I don't recall any other event that mentioned PP and since I was very keen to accumulate PP I'm sure that I would have noticed it.

I did observe that the treasury indicator at the top of the screen didn't update immediately after each event - it waited until all events were finished.

You did not count the upkeep.

you have to pay upkeep every turn.

Look in Reports menu.

I checked reports - both events occured on turn 5.
Unfortunately treasury reports does not list income from special events as a separate item.

The collected money is under Events tab

2+100+100 = 202 but you need to subtract your upkeep. Look under upkeep. That shows the balance of your treasury, not the production tab.

This was fully explained in the manual. I hope it didn't get delete on the latest revision of the manual.

Under Events for Turn 5 it says I chose 100PP for each of Battle of Smolensk and Kiev Defensive operation but there is nowhere in the financial statements to show where that income went.

Total upkeep = 37.98
PP after upkeep = 93.23
Total Prod = 177
Total modifier = 73%
Collected = 129

This feature was requested a few times in beta.

I agree there should be a list under the upkeep tab or production tab
