GEN Wavell has given the sign for operation "Thunderstruck" (named after on of the best songs ever: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXeyhLXs-NM&feature=related ) to commence. Goal is to kick the Japanese troops out of India

KB attacked Tabiteuea once more and were very lucky that my SBD-3 Dauntless pilots had a party last night and were not as accurate as they should be. 18 clear shots at the carriers. 0 hits. Aaaarrrrggggg!!!!!!! [:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@]

What to do with heavily damaged ships that need to be withdrawn
The CV Formidable is heavily damaged and needs to be withdrawn in 33 days. The port where it cannot repair the ship and transporting it to Sydney would probably cause here to sink. I don't want to spend al those PPs for a ship that needs to be pulled back anyways. Does anybody have a good way out? Besides putting it to sea and hope it sinks

In the Philippine campaign I used the "black cats" for torpedo attacks on unescorted ships. Pretty effective. Using such strategies also has a downside. It may be used against you.
