Top Screen: (Turn 34)
I have the colonies under human (my) control, and have not created any convoys.
PP on hand are 0 and STP are 59
Middle Screen: (Turn 34)
As the turn runs, a convoy is created and sent to Dover with 20PP
Bottom Screen: (Turn 35)
Colonies now have 26 PP and 105 STP.
Summary:
1. Production Points. As the colonies are producing net 46 per turn, and they had 0 starting turn 34, 20 are shipped and 26 remain at the start of turn 35, we can deduce that production points can be shipped in the TURN they are produced. Do not know if this is WAD or not. Observation only, just wondering intent of the developer.
2. Convoys are being created in the British Colonies outside of player control when set to human control. This seems problematic to me, as there have been time when I could be having severe U Boat problems, and want to hold these for a turn or so until I can get the subs under control.
3. STP's are lagging in their return to to pool. On page 11 in the manual's glossary, you state: "...They are also used to transport Supply (via convoys). Any of these Points spent in a turn are returned for the following turn..." (Bold added for emphasis) Now as I do the math, Turn 33 (Before the screens) 66 Convoys were created (40 by me 26 by ?). STP increased on turn 35 by 46 over turn 34. That implies the 66 from turn 33 returned to the pool for turn 35, and the 20 created on turn 34 have not returned. I hope that is clear, or reasonably so. [:D] This means there is a ONE TURN lag and they are not returned the following turn as the manual states. Is this your intent, and does it apply to troop and supply convoys, or just production?
FWIW, I think a one turn lag is better and models a return trip and the distances involved far better than the following turn.
Thanks in advance for your time. Guys, please do not view my posts as nitpicking, as if I am having these questions, others are also. Having fun with the game so far, and isn't that the objective?
