Overlord Playbalance issue?

I am only on the very first turn of the Overlord scenario and I think it may be very unbalanced. The Western Allies would have loved to have made such spectacular landings on 6th of June 1944.

(please don't say read the manual, or this is the way it's designed or any of the marginalizing that Razz normally does)

I was never able to make this landing such successful.

Well here is the end of Turn 2. I should be in Germany in 3 to 4 turns I think, we will see.
