More newbie questions

All,

1) Is there any way to tell what terrain does for defense/offense?

2) When you get a hero, how can you tell what unit has him if you forget

3) How do you use rail transport?

Go to the manual or click on the library in the game. Go to terrain.

Rename the unit. That's the only way.

Go to city that has RR. Click on transport icon on right menu. Go to another city, wait until next turn, then disembark.

Darn, thats a good tip on renaming the unit when they get a hero bonus.
