events in multiplayer?

Time of Fury spans the whole war in Europe and gives players the opportunity to control all types of units, ground, air and naval. Not only that, each player will be able to pick a single country or selection of countries and fight his way against either the AI or in multiplayer in hotseat or Play by E-Mail. This innovative multiplayer feature will give player the chance to fight bigger scenarios against many opponents, giving the game a strategic angle that has no equal in the market. The game uses Slitherine’s revolutionary PBEM++ server system.

weird.. I did not know events for my country fired without giving me a choice.. this is a game breaker if true, as I plan a major detour from history soon.

In multiplayer games all events are handled by the AI with % values assigned to each option.
This has been designed that way to handle the need of sending save games back and forth each turn.

I would advise.. a pre selection of major events.. who really cares about some German raider.. but what about molotov Robo pact.. ? If I say no, which I was planning, immediate at war with reds.. so
I propose you patch this game to allow a pre sellection, or, failing that.. allow the game to know the major events and pause and send turn to player.. for crying out loud we already are sending turns back and forth to the server like madmen..
now I understand why JJ was upset b4!!!

It is impossible to pre-select the events.
There are some conditions to be met to get the event to trigger.

You are sending the game back and forth every time you end your turn (and usually you are playing alliance vs alliance), imagine that you have to send it like 5-10 times at the end of the turn, just to select the options.

Anyway we will allow you to do so in one of the future patches.

ok.. the events trigger..  but there are choices.. so the CHOICES could be pre selected..
example.. do you want to honor the pact yes no? perhaps only on these MAJOR events..
