DW Error

I just bought and downloaded the game - patched it up (with both expansions)..I keep receiving this error:

Error Loading File
Could not load required image:D:\Matrix Games\Distant Worlds\images\effects\hyperexit\gerax\frame_34.png

any ideas?

Does the specified file actually exist at that location? (D:\Matrix Games\Distant Worlds\images\effects\hyperexit\gerax\frame_34.png)

If not, then this is a faulty installation. Uninstall and then reinstall the game.

Your can also try disabling any anti-virus software that may be interfering with the game's access to files.
