As the Allies, the best I've done to date in this scenario is a draw.

I did give that scenario a go a couple of months back (see link above). It was the first time I played it (always makes the best experiences) and I managed a marginal victory. If I would play it again I most certainly would not make the same mistakes again.

To win big on this one you have to secure or contest Assenois and Sibret as soon as possible as your briefing suggests. If you can't grab both early on at least pick one - these towns are very important for the Germans.

Then prepare for a D5 early morning exit by a few 4th Armored Bn's to Bastogne just before Game end.

I was able to take and hold both Assenois and Sib; nearly pinned the meter to the right, but only won a marginal victory.

The troops arriving late from the West always get hung-up by a few units along the main road when they're in column formation; I just can't seem to get them into play.

Well, under the latest patch, I've gone thru most scenarios as the Allies, and now I'm playing as the Axis; otherwise, the enemy AI plan isn't always obvious.
