Commander's range

Post by waichou »

I think I don't understand the bonus from Commanders. Look at this picture. I have a lot of commanders in the zone, but no unit without Commander has a bonus (I thought that a unit in 3 range from a commander had a bonus).

Is it normal ?

PS : it is the same in the whole front, not a single unit has a bonus, and I checked in the effectivness %, Commander is always 0%

Are units with commander assigned directly to them getting a bonus?

If you move your unit without commander into the commander's range, then you will receive bonus in next turn.

Doomtrader, I just saw in my save that Rommel is in 2 units at the same time ! Look at the corps in Crete, there is Rommel but he is also in the Panzer corps in Africa. [&:]

Ok, now I know where is the bug for the Commander's range : It is when I save at the beginning of a turn, I quit to desktop (because I stop playing sometimes...), and when I load again there is no more commander bonus for other units... Do you have the same ? Is it done to avoid player to quit the game and have a real life ? [:D]

Any news about Rommel bug ? I know he is a great general, but to be at 2 places in the same time is really a big performance !! [;)]

Fixed for the patch

Looks like some later changes reverted this functionality, as we have got it fixed at the beginning of November.
