remove the deck gun, remove the AA guns and the radars..

now you can extend the hangar a little bit for 4 planes
increase the torpedo tubes from 21" to 24"


(hehe also think you can put a midget sub on the rear and some Kaitens..)[8D]

Takao with the rear guns removed, rear used for seaplane (Mogami style)

Kitikami torpedo cruiser.. whacky design with 40 torpedo tubes.. wait.. they DID make these [8D]

(but you could convert 12 other ones to the same standard, Kiso Tama Kuma, Nagara ..etc)
