planes on CV damaged when resting

Post by hades1001 »

I put several carrier trained squadron of 36/36 ready fighter on CVs, and they are at "rest"

But after a few turns those planes just was half damaged for no reason and they won't repair. I didn't over stack my CV so stacking shouldn't be an issue. Anybody know other possible reasons?

Thank you.

More than likely what you're seeing is a/c that had high fatigue from being active & due to you resting them they're going through maint. I've seen it where I've put a unit on rest & all of a sudden over the next few turns a/c that have slight damage or fatigue will go through maint & come out 0/0 fresh & ready to only be shot down by the AI [:'(]

Thank you jcjordan, this is highly possible. I accidentally put them on cap for too long and the fatigue reach 90. So I put the fighters on rest and they are all damaged... have no idea how it will take them to repair it.

If you look at the air unit screen, you'll see 3 choices at the bottom left - pilots, aircraft data & planes (or names to that effect). Click on planes & it'll take you to a list of the individual planes & you can then see how soon each will be repaired. Pilots would take you to where you can see the individual pilots stats & a/c data would take you to info about the type a/c the unit is flying. I'm still learning new things about the game myself & Michael adds new things to each beta that comes out.

I also think it shows an average time to repair on the main group screen under the plane counts (ready, reserve, repair, etc) as a quick check.
