Matrix feedback and private forums.

Post by MikeMark »

Reading through all of these posts I have heard some nitpicking the game, but on the other hand some real good ideas to improve the game.

I also use Adobe's Photoshop forum, and the designers from time to time post on the board reguarding problems and new ideas reguarding the software. I have seen posts where they say they like the idea presented and will pass it on to the designers. On this forum there are a lot of ggod ideas to really improve the game, but it is not clear if Matrix is even hearing the ideas, or care.

I have seen some posts here from people who I think are Employee's of Matrix, but they usually respond to questions about the game, not any feedback to the ideas presented here.

I then saw somebody refer to a private forum, is that where the designers respond to the ideas presented, or have they moved on to designing new games?

We are all looking for that perfect game, and UV is pretty close; with some of the improvements discussed here the game could be even better.

Hi

Designers, the people at Matrix, plus the beta testers read what is posted here and takes note of what is going on, including good ideas for the game. This does not mean that every single good idea makes it into the game which Kid (WITP testing manager) makes sure of pointing out when he ads something to his list.

Thanks, that is good to know, if the top five dislikes in UV are addressed in witp, it is going to be one hot game.

There are threads in the private development forums dedicated to improvements suggested by UV players and testers. If you post an idea on here that has merit it will most likely at least be discussed by the developers/test team.
However, their list of items to implement is, from what I understand, immense. Not every good idea will make it into the game.

We read your ideas and some do get passed on. Some don't as they won't work with the game engine.

Sometimes it's hard to find enough balance between spending heaps of time on the forums reading every post andf developeing games. If you don't see a post from one of us at Matrix this dosen't mean we didnt see it.
