Mega Campaigns-Your Thoughts

Post by Wild Bill »

For those who have played or are playing the Mega Campaigns or other upcoming games from Matrix, I have a request.

Would you write a short review of the game and your experiences with whichever game you have played.

This includes even members of the team who tested the MC and their feelings about.

So, how do you do that? It is very easy. Go to the main Matrix Page. Click on Store. Then click on WW. By that time you should be here.

http://www.matrixgames.com/cgi-bin/store/category.cgi?category=worldwar2

Once there Find Desert Fox 41. Let's choose Mega Campaign The Desert Fox 41. Look for the box that says More Info. Click on it.Now you should be here.

http://www.matrixgames.com/cgi-bin/store/category.cgi?category=worldwar2&item=100 2&type=store

Now all you have to do is scroll down to "Write an Online Review." Click on that one and enter your thoughts. They'll be saved for posterity and gamers that come shopping in the future.

It is a great way to support Matrix and the efforts of the company as things begin to grow and blossom. Thanks for your help.

I am finally ready for the Mega-Campaigns after lots and lots of training. What all Megas are there out there and can anyone give me a personal reccomendation? I love to play the Germans or the Americans, but frankly will play any nation, any time if I the situation is challenging.

Currently, there are three of them completed. Two are played as the Germans, and the last as the USMC. THey cover North Africa-41, Russian Front-41 and Guadalcanal-42.

With all three you'll have enough SPWAW to last you for a year! They are a lot of fun. Read up on them in the Products section on the Matrix site...WB

As per your request I posted a quick review. I incourage others to do the same. And for those of you still undecided you need to pick up all three MC's. They are well worth the money!

Hmmm.....at the price I think I can afford to gamble on all three and let them fight it out on my computer for top ranking. All the same, I think the Russian Front will lose its plastic first. Nothing as pleasing as watching Stalingrad burn under the barrage of my artillery.

Also I don't have MCLV (still waiting for it), I think that it covers the operations in 1941, so I don't expect to see Stalingrad in that campaign.
BTW, is it a coincidence that it is titled "Lost Victories" like the excellent book ("Verlorene Siege") written by Generalfeldmarschall von Manstein?

Kind regards (and waiting for MCLV),
Roland

I appreciate this, gentlemen! Your input is appreciated. And special thanks to "Troop" for already posting his thoughts.

How about Germany's long withdrawl from Russia after Kursk. Or what about a campaign which features Kursk in a big way.

Yop !
Done. But there was 9 reviews of Desert Fax, and almost nothing for the 2 other MC.
I would just guess that lots of people are like me : I did buy all 3 MC but I am still playing Desert Fox. And I won't start LV or WT until I have finished Desert Fox......
