error : can't set screen mode

Hi all, I recently purchased and have installed WitP:AE.

I have installed it on something that may not be able to run, but the error I got was odd enough that I thought I would ask for advice.

I am using a Netbook with the 1.6 GHz Atom processor, and the Intel 945 express chipset video processor.

The error I get is;
error : can't set screen mode

If I can find out
A) What the error means.
B) Will this thing run WitP:AE
I would appreciate it.

2 things come to mind.
1. Does the Netbook support DirectX?
2. Minimum resolution is 1024 x 768.

1 Yes.
2 That's it, it has 1024 X 600.

Thank you, I suspected that it was something like that, but running this on the netbook would have been rather convenient.

Doesn't appear to be enough umph, vertical res wise.

Good news; If I plug it into an external monitor it works! [:D]

Bad news; This defeats the purpose of the netbook. [8|]
