Second Hand Bismarck

Post by Rasputitsa »

Fall Gelb, Axis v AI, Turn 18 - I have just received the 'Bismarck' and 'Prinz Eugen' and sent them out on their first mission and now my shiny new ships are showing at sea for 18 turns (the duration of the game so far).

Don't trust a used ship salesman, he said they were brand new.[:)]

When you first receive a ship, the turns at sea is the number of the turn of the game.

You must keep them in port for one turn. Then the counter will re-set.

This is being looked at for the AI as it effects combat. Don't know if it will be change for humans the next patch.

Just think of it as your crew being trained for the first turn.

It kind of makes sense as you can not deploy a land or air unit and use them on your first turn.

OK, thanks, I was too eager to try out my new toys, still getting to grips with the naval part of the game. Not sure about the combat aspects, but like the way you can organise forces, dock for repair, rename and split fleets, it feels good, when you learn to make use of all the info screens you have available.[:)]
