Super M8 Greyhound

Post by suvarov »

WTF?

These little guys and the m5a1 Stuart with their little 37L ROUTINELY punch holes in the front armor of JagdPz IV at up to 500 yards.

Never mind that the Sherman(76) also routinely defeat the frontal armor of Panthers and JagdPanthers at the same ranges.

What are they firing, depleted uranium????

I was playing the Germans and had 4 (!) JagdIV's sitting on defend overwatch about 450 yards from where a road exited a woods. 1 M8 and 1 M5 came tooling down the road and proceeded to pop the front armor on all 4 JagdIV's. My "tank hunters" managed with several hits to 'damage' the M8.

I might not object if I lost 1 Jagd as a FLUKE, but all 4. I replayed the scenario, and the same bloody thing happened except the second time I destroyed the m5 before my 4th Jagd IV burst into flames.

BTW, CC Cross of Iron seemed about right in terms of the penetration equation. This game is screwy.

Either your data is wrong, or ASL every other armor board game ever is wrong.

How can I fix this nonsense?

To make sure you have the latest data you should grab v4.50.14; tm.asp?m=2744983

4.50.07bwas the last official patch

if you wish to be  BETA tester download and install v4.50.14

But, I don't think there have been any data changes that would effect 37mmm V Axis armour.
