All I want to know is roughly how long has the game been in development so far?

Not bothered about the details just how long it's been worked on upto now. Has it just started? Is it still on the drawing board? Or has was work started not long after the BftB release for instance?

Mainly for my anticipation\excitement factor.

We started the EF game a number of years back. there was an initial flurry of effort but then we focussed on BFTB and it went into hibernation. We reactivated about six months ago. A lot of the mapping is done or nearing completion. Soviet estab development is in full swing. The research for th German estabs is nearing completion. We have some rough designs for the scenarios but these are yet to be worked up and of necessity have to wait till the estabs and maps are done.

Excellent. Thanks Dave. I suppose this then leads onto more questions like has work on the new features started...but I wont ask;) As I said just general info was what I was after.
