New computer problems

Hello,

I just bought a new lap top so I can play this while on the road. I have the disk I bought last year and loaded into the new laptop (I now have Windows 7). The game seemed to load okay and I can play new scenarios and save them and open them, but it won't load the PBEM game I have going on. I've tried several different ways to do it, but all I get is "fail to load" or something like that.

Any ideas?

Probably corrupted save. Try download it again

Koniu - might be right but it's actually more likely he's using the wrong beta (MP or single version) with the save.

Yeah, I could use the downloaded save on my old computer (this entailed me restarting that) but not on the new one. But, it won't let me download new versions onto the new computer either, I keep getting an error message and it won't complete the download.

Perhaps the server has gone dark in protest of SOPA/PIPA?[:)]
