Railing out industry

Post by AFV »

If the German player is able to move a division next to a city so the ZOC overlaps the industry (HI, armament, whatever), but is not not blocking the rail to the east, can the Soviet player rail it out? I feel like the answer is no, but I read a post somewhere to the contrary and wanted to make sure. I just picked the game up and have only played as a German player.

On the other hand, if you have a successful counterattack and force the unit to retreat during your turn, you can then rail out the factories.
