Something I keep wanting to do...

Command Ops: Battles From The Bulge takes the highly acclaimed Airborne Assault engine back to the West Front for the crucial engagements during the Ardennes Offensive. Test your command skills in the fiery crucible of Airborne Assault’s “pausable continuous time” uber-realistic game engine. It's up to you to develop the strategy, issue the orders, set the pace, and try to win the laurels of victory in the cold, shadowy Ardennes.
Command Ops: Highway to the Reich brings us to the setting of one of the most epic and controversial battles of World War II: Operation Market-Garden, covering every major engagement along Hell’s Highway, from the surprise capture of Joe’s Bridge by the Irish Guards a week before the offensive to the final battles on “The Island” south of Arnhem.

Something I keep wanting to do...

...but it's just not in the game - using the Threats button and highlighting an enemy unit so I can see at a glance who has spotted it/he has spotted. At present (I think) I have to click each of my units to determine which units see the enemy unit that has just become visible.

oh - and thank you VERY much for converting HTTR to this new engine...I thought HTTR would have escaped my grasp.

I think seeing an enemy unit does not necessarily mean it´s considered a "threat", so to evaluate spotting the threat tool is just of limited value. A dedicated LOS tool would be better, as well as an indicator for who called for Arty support. I could also imagine small targeting lines drawn from friendly to last engaged enemy units and such.

I guess I just always imagined a unit in sight was a threat - even if it can't actually do you damage from where it is

Threat rating appears to depend very much on a particular units equipment "effective fire" range. I noticed the AI units are well aware of this and under circumstances keep outside effective fire for movement and deployment purposes. Off course intel plays its role as well and misjudgement (faulty intel) might lead to over- or underestimation of a units fire power, which might also be the cause for some odd retreating behaviors.

For me I want to see an estimated time of arrival for way points like in Flashpoint Germany. That way it's easier to time maneuvers.
