<Indeed, no protection from Sea Lion. I lost 4 Major Royal Naval Vessels in that Attack. The Navy just doesn't hit Transport craft like it might historically. Only Tac Air or Naval Air has any chance of intercepting these craft. The chance of a transport getting through is much to high in tiny little sea zones like the English Channel...I have run Sea Lion, it is a giveme for the Axis, not stress for her to commit to it...although I do not feel that England is the end of the War she is just another waste of your PPs, good luck my friend>


Meanwhile, Axis forces cannot do in France as expected(a long and protracted campaign looks like it will take till 1940)

North Africa is very realistic in places once you hit the ground.. You start to lose Supply UltraFast...Your troops are frozen until freed, literally

I wish I could do a dunkirk for my poor troops in NA.. they are really in trouble..

Vichy, Finally... Feb 1st 1940

This has been a hard road to get to. Dozens of Skirmishes between the RN and Italian Navy throughout the Mediterranean has cost dozens of ships for each Nation. The Battle for North Africa Rages across the front with cutoff Italians...

Meanwhile...England is now Alone

Vichy fires, finaly, one week, weak?, setup time and then, Feb 40 Yugo!.. I did not want my frinds in London to feel alone.. so I DOW on the Yugo's.. time to become part of the new empire. my scientist insist our new death ray tanks will defeat even the most stuborn enemy fort! In France my armor was not effective at walking up to cities and alone destroying their fortifications, time will see.
Meanwhile I sac the gang of four, oops wrong evil empire, and replace The F's ministers with competent air and land ministers, I alone will govern the press for propaganda..
LW units are moved into the medd and there bombs begin raining down on RN possitions.. I cannot afford the brits to control the med and over run all!!! They are the evil empire, at least thats what I am telling the USA... Several fleets are bombed and several cities in Yugo.... The northern outposts fall quickly. I trust that panzer will be needed and start converting mob inf to armor... still unable to birth arm corps from arm div... They cost more than a fleet of subs! we will see...
Timeline for the liberation fo the empire... Yogo, Feb March... invasion England April -through the summer.. cannot invade in winter!

The railing of tanks and the attack in winter serously causes thing to be SLOW in Yugo.. I move forward and as well bring in additional units.. we are also in refit and repair mode.. and darn those investments need to be beefed up in research!
My lw minister assures me that the royal navy poses no threat, but I remain unconvinced...
The Italians abandon 5 coprs in Africa, unable to supply them they lay down arms and are returned in the pfrom of pp to italy... a harsh leasson, my enemy will undoubtedly fight in Yugo, I am counting on it.. meanwhile Hungary and Romania make overtures that they may want the greater co prosperity that Tojo, our unlikely friend in the East has promissed the yellow masses fighting for freedom against their European oppressors...

With the finns fighting the Reds in Lenningrad area, hopefully nothing worse will happen, I eye the balkins too... and wonder if and when


New tank units are railed from germany and France and the buildup of troops in Yugo seem unstoppable... we will see.

Zegreb falls.. and now almost all my littel bitty tank divisions are running around, trying to stay away from the uber pk.. now at 16 level one tanks...
I hope to get some more experience for my panzers.. but its harsh having level one stuff!
The combination of panzer s and tacair are brutal to the minors, Bulgaria also expressed some hope of joining in our great crusade...
My foe is killing off the last few IT troops in Africa.. and I hit his fleets in med again with the German planes, remember he killed three Italian air units in Africa, I could not get them out after he brilliantly took Tobruk and ? the other port??? in one fell swope.. I agree with BVW, then tranies should be much more succeptable to air interdiction, and sea for that matter...
no sign of the Brits in Yugo.. too bad.. was hoping to kill off some and punish them for Africa!

Some pics of yugo would be great and what is current loss ratio of ships in the med. I wonder if the combined Naval forces of Germany and Italy are doing serious damage to RN.

What happened to the French fleets. Did they convert to the RN or did Vichy get control?

[8D] Yes the Libyan Affair for the British was the only Ace of which we could perform that was moral boosting.(it isn't however a war winner) I think anymore losses to the Luftwaffe in the Mediterranean woke me up(Royal navy Evacuated to Safe Locations) Regia Aeronautica ceases to exist is the only accomplishment of note in London.

Meanwhile our Little Red Evil in the Winter War has proven that the Russians Can and Do fight. Russian Armor surpasses the expectation of Stalin by Pushing by all Finnish divisions and 1 Korp back away from our beloved Leningrad. Killing tens of thousands...Also Russian Tactical Air reigns down fire upon the Finnish Navy, knocking it out of the remainder of the war. This war may indeed go past Winter at this rate(Helsinki here we come)

The Invasion of Libya:

Followed Two Amphibious Invasions, launched directly from the Home Isles... Followed by the Entire Royal Navy using Carrier Air Craft and at great risk to strike out at any possible interdiction by the Italian Air Force/Navy and Army. Only 1 British Tank Division followed to link up supply from Alexandria... Effectively cutting off the two Ports of Supply; cut of any retreat... Unfortunately this was an expensive endeavor and to boot... There is no great gain, except sealing off the Italians themselves from directly threatening Egypt...Which they had begun to invade...Partly what cost them this Back Water Sphere... Here were the initial Battle Plans and successfully pursued thus far...

The issue with the uber panzers is the cost... at level one over 180 pp to go div to Korps.. thats painfull

And while I am doing a good job of upgrading to tank divisions.. my upk,UBER PANZER KORPS, are too few.. and the level of my tanks... still driving around with lvl 1 aauck!!![:-]

Its early april, 1940.. I can take Greece. 9pp?, Swits11 pp, and attack either Baltic states or England or both...
I am concerned about the Brits attacking Italy...almost enough to attack Vichy and gain a toeshold on NA and attack Libya area by land

Our glorious empire is now in a building phase.. and Invasions of Britain, Baltics and Switzerland are debated endlessly among my lackeys...
I favor removing Vichey and invading Africa.. but the pro Spain faction insists Spain must join for this to work...

and yes, that a level one tank korp at 16.. only time will tell if I can hit the dreaded 50 before the end of 42, Troops are massing for Sea Lion, and the Border of Greace is now occupied by several division on "training excerscises"
