Tracker: unequal base size

Post by nihilent »

Hi all,

I recently upgraded my WITP AE to the latest public beta version.
I'm playing two pbems at the same time.

Now I tried loading the next turn for one of the games and Witp Tracker get stuck at comparing bases and giving me an error message "unequal base size" (or sth like that). I cannot reproduce the error message as Tracker just stops working at "comparing bases".
This game I upgraded during play.

Tracker loads turns for the other game without any complaints.
This game I started with the public beta.

Any idea what this can be?

Thanks for you help :-)

Cheers

Would be best to post this question in the Tracker thread on the main page.

First - rjopel is right; best to try the correct thread.

Having said that and I'm here; I can tell you upgrading the game with the beta will do strange things to Tracker. Did you do a corresponding pwsdll.dll copy to the Tracker folder?

Other possibilities:
Having 2 installs - I hope you tried to load the right game ...

Finally:
If you have a turn before and the turn it errors on you can PM me for email support.

I had the same problem after succesfully running Tracker, and got it to intermittently run after that, I dont think I upgraded the patch but I am going to try copying the pwsdll.dll and cross my fingers.
