Using "Low Carnage" Settings in Pacific Battles

Post by KG Erwin »

For those who do not use JEB Davis' "Low Carnage" settings in Long Campaigns, let me say that it adds much to the game experience. In the USMC campaign vs the Japanese, it adds more realism and makes winning a bit tougher. One also realizes exactly why the Marines constantly upgraded their firepower, as the Japanese are VERY tough to kill. It becomes vitally important to have plenty of ammo trucks available, as it takes much ammo to suppress and destroy those powerful Japanese infantry squads, especially in the 1942 battles. Keep those mortars firing!

It's nice to hear how LC increases the realism for you. [:)]
I enjoy the same settings in any theatre & time period too.
Reduce SP:WaW slaughter, "Low Carnage":
