What is the significance of the pink (it looks that color) color along several hexsides in the Korea/Manchukuo/Russian rivers?

Nevermind, it's just what the border color looks like when the hexside details is on on my pc. The blue river hexside makes the brown border look pink on my screen. I thought it was just some strange color meaning but just a brain fart on my part.

Talking about colours? With the air search arcs I know green is afternoon and blue is morning but what does the black search arcs mean?

black is where the arc is being searched both AM & PM, for surface search. iirc, white is an AM & PM ASW search.
