Sider Bar issue

Post by decaro »

When I click on my units, my side bar expands such that I lose the extreme right side of it, including some of my orders selctions; when I deselect the unit, the sidebar appears "normal' again.

I suspect this has something to do with the latest MS update/fix to Net4.

Running XP wSP3.

What text size font are you using for your system font. If under System 7, go to the Display control panel and ensure it is set to "smaller - 100% (default)". IIRC under XP it should be set to "Normal - 96 dpi".

I haven't (deliberately) changed any text fonts, but I did notice that the text for the adjust screen resolution seemed significantly larger.

How do I get to the Display control panel in XP?

In XP, you can change fonts, but not font sizes (?), so I took a look in the BftB pdf manual for some help, but found it was greatly magnified, so I reduced it for "normal" viewing and voila, my sidebar issue was solved.

I still can't believe it!
