The big picture

For the longest time we've been splitting up forces on a battalion level, and blazing away at one another. Then one day sombody mentions "Hey! why don't we take the actual milage of a 100-240 map, make a grid that matches areal map and have a huge campaign." Fourteen of us said "wow cool man" I've just made my 10th map and my right hand feels like i've done 24hours with the hun yellow pages" The idea is normandy with everybodys units on paper. Then we put them on the Big board(Get premier Kissoff on the line)a grid overlaying the map. When sombody says I'm moving here the enemy side sees if he has anybody there if he does then we see what map we need and there's a battle. All paper units can move one board at a time. This is fun but tedious, any chance of a map upgrade'say 240-240,300-300,1000-1000 etc. Thanks again guys, your the greatest.

I don't think this will happen. I'm not part of the design team anymore but it's my understanding that the only changes after 4.5 will be OOB updates. Plus - I think any time they change the maps like that causes a lot of trouble with older versions of the game - so it's very unlikely - sorry.
