Laptop 1366 x 768

Post by Parmenides »

Hi!

I read in the whatsnew readme that widscreen for 1366 x 768 will allways fallback to 1024 x 768.
Thats very sad since on my laptop I cant even read the text due to the small screen.

Is there hopefully a solution around. Thanks for any help

No solution that I am aware of Parmenides. But, I also don't think changing the game window to 1366x768 would help you anyway. The text stays the same size on the same display. Increasing the window size only allows you to see more of the map at one time. The text on all of the screens and popups is unchanged.

My AE works just fine with 1366x768 on my Sony Vaio. Runs full-screen 1366x768, not on 1024x768.

You could try setting the -altFont switch on the command line.  The other font is sometimes more readable on smaller screens.
