These fronts will collapse, if you take too many units out for the East Front, it will happen sooner, but either way it will happen.

You need to prepare to reinforce these fronts after collapse and not be too over-extended in the East.

If you want to play an undisturbed East Front game, you could use WIRHack to disable those front events and just get on with Russia. The scenario could be, total victory in the West in 1940. [:)]

It should happen around the historical time-scale and AFAIK if you reduce the units on that front it may be earlier, if you have more units it may delay collapse for a while, but it will still happen.
