Fatal error 818

Hi-Just got a new laptop, have installed AE OK. Installed WITP, but when I go to play, I get the above fatal error.

What is it and what do I do about it?

Hi,

Did you forget to install 1.804 first? I found an old post, http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=1801414, with the same error which was due to that.

Anyone else? I'd like to know what error 818 means. Is there some printed list or place to look that up? HB

Either game requires the proper upgrade path to avoid problems.

Problem solved. Uninstalled, reinstalled and installed 1804, then 1806. Works fine. Again, thanks. HB
