Soviets (on Normal)

Time of Fury spans the whole war in Europe and gives players the opportunity to control all types of units, ground, air and naval. Not only that, each player will be able to pick a single country or selection of countries and fight his way against either the AI or in multiplayer in hotseat or Play by E-Mail. This innovative multiplayer feature will give player the chance to fight bigger scenarios against many opponents, giving the game a strategic angle that has no equal in the market. The game uses Slitherine’s revolutionary PBEM++ server system.

Soviets (on Normal)

Post by Dr. Foo »

I was playing as Axis (on hard) everyone else was on normal. Before attacking the Soviets I noticed that there were no units at the border...nothing. I saved, restarted the game and selected Soviet human controlled to my surprise the Soviets had over 300PPs! And had nothing in the building que! They built no defense along the front whatsoever.

How do Soviets get new units do they come through events or do they not start building until attacked?

Also can the event that zeros all Soviet units be modified. I can understand zero for one turn but they were zeroed 3-4 turns later and I'm taking Kiev without much of a fight.

Thanks. [:)]

What's the best combination to play Axis hard Allies easy or very easy?

It's hard to answer your question when you don't give us the circumstances.

What scenario?

What date?

The AI may have received funds from lend lease.

Also, they it likes to do research.

When I was still playing the AI I used Hard Human vrs Easy AI and pretty much Crushed the AI every time. Hard vrs Very Easy seems doable in some scenarios, but its like shoveling snow while its snowing a lot of work, and SOOO many units its hardly any fun and doesn't feel much like a battle more a horror flick where you fight endless hordes of mindless zombies...

Alas the AI needs a lot of work. One example is some screen shots for an AAR I would call 'Finns Gone Wild' if I published it (I was just seeing how the AI played against each other but couldn't resist moving the Finns once the Winter War started). Playing just Finland in the GC they took Murmansk and Leningrad and a few other USSR cities. That was normal vrs normal but SERIOUSLY losing Leningrad to Finland???

PBEM anyone?
