Who can recommend a good book about the AVG?
Occasionally, and randomly, problems and solutions collide. The probability of these collisions is inversely related to the number of committees working on the solutions. -- Me.

It's been a long time since I read it, but Flying Tigers by Daniel Ford was pretty good.

Barbara Tuchman's "Stilwell and the American Experience in China" has some good 'political' info about the Chennault v. Stilwell battles over strategy & supply allocation.
