Have I Lost? 9,470 Rifle Squad (-)

Hello Everyone,
I have survived the first year as Russian but through a stupid defensive error lost Leningrad.
Positively the factories were evacuated.
Winter blizzards bought some but not a huge amount of success.
Germans in snow show alarming strength.
My total losses are 4.3 million with an army of 5.2 millloin and 4,900 tanks increasing steadily

The Germans are about to attack and I fear how weak I am in snow!!!

Most alarming are the rifle squads.
It says I have 110,000 normal rifle squads ( or a million the numerbs are small)
and 55,000 Rifle Squad (-)

In Pools it says I have a pool of 1,757 rifles squads and

9,470 Rifle Squad (-)

DOes this mean I am 10,000 rifle squads short?
Does this explain why I frequently have depleted infantry units.
I am now avoiding comabt with mud coming before the axis attack of summer 1942 but I fear I have lost the game due to earlier idiocy caused losses.

Any advice - the battle line is pretty close to standard except that Leningrad is lost.

Rifle squad (-) is just another type of rifle squads but AFAIR with a bit less quality/quantity equipment than the standard squads.

If you have lots of depleted units you may not have enough manpower and/or armament points to fill them up. Consider merging rifle brigades into Rifle divisions and/or disbanding understrength units that also have very low morale/experience.
