My mom's computer refused to boot past the POST screen yesterday. I went into setup and found that the BIOS had reset the date to January 1st, 2002. Much weirdness.

If the computer is a little older, the battery for storing the BIOS settings may be running out.

It's two years old.

Fair start to the game. 4 battlewagons sunk at Pearl, pulled off the landings in Malaya, even though Force Z made it to Khota Bharu (had to trade Kongo for Repulse). Landings at Vigan and Legaspi went in, Aparri spoiled for a few days by Asiatic Fleet destroyers.

What fine weekend for WCHA hockey. Friday night the Sioux trailing 0-3 against the Gophers late in the second period go on to score six unanswered goals. That had to have hurt the Gopher fans. And Saturday night the the Sioux beat U. of Denver 4-0 to win the WHCA title. That makes three in a row.
Now on to the regionals. Don't know which games are televised and where.

The baptism ceremony was performed on Saturday by a deacon with a visiting priest in tow. The priest was an 85 year old Irishman with a deep, but pleasant, Irish brogue. During the invocation of Saints, the deacon overlooked the date and the origin of the priest. I thought the priest was going to come out of his skin with the oversight.

You wanna see an old Irish priest move? Forget to mention St. Patrick in a favorable light on St. Patrick's day. [:D] [X(]
