Problems with mech.exe

Post by m10bob »

My computer was able to play SPWAW fine until maybe 5 months ago, when I started getting the error mssg that their was a problem with the mech.exe..

I have a quad core 64 HP, 4 gig RAM, and like I said, the game had been playing o.k.

The color fix mentioned earlier works perfect for the colors, as everybody else has noticed..

Of course, I use Windows 7..[;)]

Help??

I'd try reinstalling the game and also make sure UAC is turned off. Or if you leave UAC on then make sure not to install the game under the "Program Files" or "Program Files (x86)" folders.

I just leaded the link that Cross posted!!! Good catch someone should sticky it IMO. Computer does go wanky after I exit the game for a minute but back to normal after that.
