Calling Matrix Japanese wargame

Post by wodin »

Well I have no idea what's going on however it certainly looks detailed and I expect is a fine wargame that someone should bring over here, Matrix maybe?

This is being played ona PC...it also mentions system specs, I beleive some versions have come out on consoles. Lets remember though japanese console games have far more depth than western ones.

It does indeed look interesting. I am trying to get a better and more detailed look.

If you notice it's being played on Windows infact it mentions the system specs required obviously you musn't have watched the video. I think other versions have been put out on consoles.

The description below video mentions PC aswell.

This video is just a short tease of Daisenryaku Perfect 3.0 For the PC.

This game is only currently avalible in Japan, but a friend of mine at work gave it to me as a birthday present. We play the Daisenryaku 7 Exceed on PS2 alot and it gives us countless hours of fun.

German Campaign 1:

NATO Forces are battling the Eurasian-Far East Military in the Middle-East in hopes of warding off further control of the wide spread axis. Mulitiple surgical air strikes from NATO have crippled the Mechanized Shock Army Spearheads but a resurgence of ambush and flanking manuoevers still continues against NATO. The 9th and 21st Armoured Brigade of the German Bundeswehr are commencing small but heavily armoured strikes against the remaining forces in the small region. Also, a small component of the German Air Force, are lending a hand to support further combat operations.

I thought it was a console as defined by the Official Definition of Words by S. Ambrose 1989--"b : a small storage cabinet between bucket seats in an automobile".

Another link.

This is a PC game that was released in Japan.

Games in the series have been released on consoles, this one though was only on the PC.

Not to keen on the fighting graphics though. Still I'd still like to see an english translation.

I already contacted Ian McNeil about this through email 2 years ago.

Here's his reply.
Ahh I didn’t realise it was the Daisenryaku guys. We already know them – I didn’t recognise the name of the company.

We looked at their games but they were too hard to localise – maybe the new stuff is better though L

Cheers

Iain

Someone better look into this again. :)

This is their corporate contact page.

Hi Vincenzo - the issue was that they were not able to tranaslate at all. The code has text in it so no way to send it off to be translated. There is no external text file. Thanks for the offer though! :) We have other games we might want to do in Japanese if you are interested in volunteering! :)
