Does the messaging work?

Does the chat in multiplayer work? I've sent several messages to my opponent and I don't know how to get a hold of him if he does not answer by "chat" in game.

In 1.00 I was able to get a few messages back and forth and then it seemed to lock up. Is it just me again or are others having problems?

in PBEM it does work but in a very limited way. The message shows on his chat screen (you can't see your own messages) Usually you just see it when you first connect. Better to exchange email addresses if you want to communicate an any meaningful way. Or use the IM in the Matrix forum.

Just press the ctrl+C to open chat window.
